Role Responsibilities:

• Provide morning care such as bed baths, showers, whirlpools, oral hygiene, hair care, back care, changing linens, and general room care throughout the day.
• Assist with evening care including face and hand washing, oral hygiene, back rubs, peri-care, linen changes, and general care as needed.
• Notify licensed personnel if a patient reports pain.
• Prepare patients for meals, serve and clear trays, assist with feeding if necessary, and distribute refreshments.
• Respond to call lights, anticipate patient needs, and conduct rounds.
• Assist with personal property management, including dentures, glasses, hearing aids, and prosthetic devices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a nursing assistant course
• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
