Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with patient activities within the scope of practice, without administering medications or therapies. All duties are carried out in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required where mandated by state; current BLS certification required.
  • No experience necessary; however, 2-3 years in a hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing setting is preferred.
