Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care within the scope of the position, without administering medications or therapy, and following hospital policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certification as a CNA required where applicable. Current BLS certification is required.
• No experience required; however, 2-3 years in an acute hospital, rehab, or skilled nursing setting is preferred.
