Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to support nursing staff and patient care. This role includes direct patient-facing tasks and clerical duties at the nursing station.

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will perform personal care and handle reception tasks, contributing to a high-quality care environment in Pipestone, MN. Training in required certifications is provided with hire, with some items expected within specified timeframes.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 1 week of hire or already held.
• NRP Essentials certification required or must be obtained within one year of hire.

Job Duties

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Health Unit Coordinator provides direct, personal care and services to patients in the facility which meets their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual needs on a daily basis; additionally, duties will include various clerical and reception responsibilities at the nursing station and surrounding environment.

Education/Certifications

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Completion and maintenance of certification and training requirements as established by the Minnesota Department of Health for registered nursing assistants required. BLS certified or must be obtained within 1 week of hire. Certification of NRP Essentials required or must be obtained within one year of hire.

The pay range for this position is $20.40 - $31.62. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
