Pipestone County Medical Center and Family Clinic is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to support nursing staff and patient care. This role includes direct patient-facing tasks and clerical duties at the nursing station.

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will perform personal care and handle reception tasks, contributing to a high-quality care environment in Pipestone, MN. Training in required certifications is provided with hire, with some items expected within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 1 week of hire or already held.
• NRP Essentials certification required or must be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Health Unit Coordinator provides direct, personal care and services to patients in the facility which meets their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual needs on a daily basis; additionally, duties will include various clerical and reception responsibilities at the nursing station and surrounding environment.
