Job summary

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton, MA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. Openings on 11p-7a with every other weekend, offering hourly pay with shifts that include evenings, overnights, and weekends.

As a CNA, you’ll provide routine daily nursing care under licensed staff, meet residents’ care plans, and document care accurately while maintaining safety and dignity for each resident. New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to care procedures.
• Participate in planning and following the resident care plan.
• Complete assignments promptly and accurately.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition.
• Maintain clean, orderly care areas and proper resident identification.
• Assist with personal grooming and respond to call lights promptly.
• Ensure safety and comply with training and orientation guidelines.

Job description

We are hiring full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dynamic care team at Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton!

Openings on 11p-7a, including every other weekend.

Hourly rate ranges frm $21 to $26, depending on the shift, with weekly pay. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have differentials. Openings on all shifts, including every other weekend.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) the primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with our established nursing care procedures, and as may be directed by the licensed staff nurse.

Experience & Education:

• Must be a registered certified nurse's aide in accordance with the laws of this state.

• CPR certification preferred, but not necessary.

• New graduates welcome!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.

• Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under his/her care.

• Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly.

• Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them.

• Document accurately and completely.

• Meet personal grooming needs for each resident.

• Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident.

• Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner.

• Methods of identification of residents are maintained. Maintain that all residents are appropriately identified (i.e., I.D. bracelets, etc.).

• Demonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job description.

• Other duties assigned by manager.

Specific Requirements:

• Must have knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies and utilize appropriately.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.

• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

• Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.

• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

• Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with appropriate personnel regarding emergency situations.
