Job summary

South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland is hiring full-time and part-time CNAs to join our compassionate team. Positions offer an hourly rate of $21 to $26 with weekly pay and shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Applicants must hold an active Massachusetts CNA license. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, but not required, as training and career advancement opportunities are available within a supportive, equal-opportunity workplace.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Participate in planning and following the current resident care plan.
• Complete resident assignments promptly and accurately.
• Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them.
• Document accurately and completely.
• Meet personal grooming needs for each resident.
• Promptly answer call lights and ensure they are within reach of the resident.
• Ensure care areas are clean and orderly after use.
• Maintain proper resident identification (ID bracelets, etc.).

$21 to $26 an hour with weekly pay, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials.

Experience & Education:

• Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Massachusetts.
• General work experience in long-term care preferred, but not necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
• Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under his/her care.
• Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly.
• Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them.
• Document accurately and completely.
• Meet personal grooming needs for each resident.
• Promptly answer call lights and assure that all are placed within reach of the resident.
• Assure the resident care areas are left clean and in an orderly manner.
• Methods of identification of residents are maintained. Maintain that all residents are appropriately identified (i.e., I.D. bracelets, etc.).
