Job summary

Hanover Health and Rehabilitation in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking qualified individuals to join our growing team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, and dressing).
• Assist with mealtime activities and feeding as needed.
• Assist with mobility, including transferring and positioning.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs; report changes to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well‑being.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.

• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.

• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.

• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well‑being.

• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.

• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
