Berkshire Health & Rehabilitation Center in Vinton, VA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our growing team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). As a CNA, you will provide individualized care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and support the nursing team to maintain the highest standard of resident well‑being in a caring environment.

• Active unencumbered Virginia CNA certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well‑being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
