Norfolk Health and Rehab is seeking qualified CNAs to join our compassionate care team in Norfolk, VA. You will deliver individualized care, assist with daily activities, and support residents to maintain independence and dignity in a caring environment.

As a CNA, you will work closely with nurses, observe health status, and engage residents in social activities to promote well-being. We offer a retention bonus and comprehensive benefits to our full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
