Job summary

Hanover Health and Rehabilitation in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking qualified CNAs to join our compassionate nursing team and provide hands-on care in a supportive environment.

As a CNA, you will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents’ health, and engage them in social activities to enhance quality of life at our facility.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
