PruittHealth is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist residents with medications per individualized care plans in a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and compassionate communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers.

You'll follow state and federal regulations, maintain MAR documentation, and ensure proper storage and disposal of medications. This full-time position offers daytime/evening shifts (3P-11P or 11P-7A) as available.

Formación

• Minimum education: Some high school.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preference for prior medication tech experience and experience with long-term care or assisted living.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with medications per individualized care plans.
• Maintain medication storage, disposal, and infection control practices.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Read, transcribe, and correct MAR as ordered by physicians.
• Document administration and resident refusals accurately and timely.
• Report medication errors immediately and communicate concerns to supervisor and family.
