Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of assisted living policies regarding medication management.
• Ability to follow state and federal rules on medication storage and disposal.
• Ability to read and follow medication orders and labels.
• Maintain accurate MAR records and make corrections as ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities

• Follows the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Identifies concerns with medication orders or resident reactions and takes action.
• Maintains safe medication storage and disposal practices.
• Documents administration and resident refusals according to policy.
