Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for full-time shifts (3P-11P or 11P-7A) at our Macon, GA location. You will assist residents with medications ordered by licensed providers, following care plans and state/federal regulations.

As a CMA, you will ensure accurate dosing, document administration, maintain MAR accuracy, and communicate with pharmacy, providers, and family. Training and guidance are provided to support resident safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR certification and Medication Tech certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state/federal rules and company policies for medication management.
• Read and follow medication orders and MAR accurately.
• Document administration and resident refusals per policy.
• Monitor infection control and proper medication storage.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, providers, and family as needed.
• Report medication errors immediately to supervisor.
