Job summary

PruittHealth seeks a Certified Medication Aide to support residents with medications under licensed providers and the care plan. You may assist with self-administration, reminders, and administration per state and federal laws, while coordinating with pharmacy, physicians, and families to ensure safe, accurate medication management.

You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document actions clearly, and work with the care team to monitor residents for side effects, needed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medication management required by state and federal laws.
• Ability to read and follow medication orders and labels.
• Preferred experience in long-term care or assisted living settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications ordered by licensed providers per care plan.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations on medication storage, disposal, and infection control.
• Document assistance and resident responses accurately and timely.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Communicate with pharmacy, healthcare providers, and families as needed.
