Qualifications

• Must have current, valid Texas CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verify identity of resident and record medication administration details.
• Present medication to resident and observe ingestion or administration.
• Take vital signs and monitor residents for reactions to medications.
• Record temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration as directed.
• Respond to signals and determine resident needs; escalate as required.
