Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Float to provide person-centered care and support residents with daily living activities, medication administration, and wellness programs. The ideal candidate holds both CMA and CNA I (GNA) certifications in Maryland, has CPR, and at least one year of CNA I and medication administration experience.

Join our team as a Certified Medication Aide (CMAs) Float. Our CMAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

The ideal candidate will have both certifications CMA (Certified Medication Aide) and CNA I (GNA).

As a full-time Float you will be expected to obtain a listing of available shifts from the Staffing Coordinator by the 15th day of each preceding month. Then, no later than the 20th day of the preceding month you will be responsible for submitting your selected shifts to the Staffing Coordinator. This selection shall consist of four or five shifts for each (Sunday through Saturday) week, chosen from the availability provided by the Staffing Coordinator. Availability of shifts (days and hours) may fluctuate and will be consistently based upon the scheduling needs of the facility.

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Shift differential is applicable for evening and night shift

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus (all shifts)

Shift Differentials

• $2.00 hourly for evening shift (3pm - 11:30pm)
• $2.00 hourly for night shift (11pm - 7:30am)

How you will make an impact:

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
• Providing assistance with resident activities and programs
• Working with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter
• Administration of medication to residents

What you will need

• Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the State of Maryland
• Current CNAI (GNA) certification for the State of Maryland
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA I experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of Medication Administration experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
