• Completion of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology coding courses.
• CCS or CIC certification required.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and data entry.

Responsabilidades

• Identify appropriate ICD codes for diagnoses and procedures.
• Abstract data elements and enter into the designated system.
• Manage unbilled coding reports and cash flow.
• Stay updated with ICD guideline changes via training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
