UMass Memorial Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for outpatient care in Worcester. The role includes vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, clerical duties, and patient documentation. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 40 hours, day shift. Compensation ranges with full-time hours; signing bonus may apply during interview.

Must have a High School diploma, BLS/HS, and a MA credential; some substitutions allowed based on experience. Exemptions and equity considerations apply per policy.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required; BLS/HS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Medical Assistant credential recognized by MA Dept. of Health; substitution allowed with applicable experience.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care tests.
• Assist with injections and routine physicals as directed.
• Review labs and promptly alert clinicians of abnormal results.
