Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED is required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from CMA/RMA/CCMA or similar; ABR-OE acceptable (not in SC).
• BLS CPR certification is required at hire for some Mercy Health locations or prior to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients and community respectfully.
• Prepares and reviews patient charts ensuring test results and records are current.
• Measures vital signs: pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height.
• Performs clerical duties: inventory, stock, referrals, phone coverage.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
