Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Lima Medical Office Building. The role supports the primary care physician by updating records, measuring vitals, preparing treatment rooms, and coordinating clerical tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

The candidate should have a High School Degree or GED and CMA certification (or equivalent) with 1 year clinical experience preferred, plus strong communication and computer skills to engage with patients and staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EDUCATION: CMA certification or equivalents (RMA/CCMA/NHA, etc.) per licensure guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and the community with excellent customer service.
• Prepares & reviews patient charts and updates health records for visits.
• Measures vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Performs departmental clerical duties: inventory, stock, referrals, phones.
• Troubleshoots and resolves problems promptly; other duties as assigned.
