Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work closely with the primary care physician to provide high-quality patient care within the Medical Assisting scope. You will review health records, measure vitals, and prepare exam rooms for visits.

As part of a faith-based, patient-centered team, you will greet patients, update charts, perform clerical duties, and support the care team.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the following (required).
• BLS certification is preferred or required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner.
• Review and update patient charts and vital signs.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties (inventory, referrals, phone coverage).
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
