Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care in a community setting. You will review health records, measure vitals, prepare exam rooms, and support clinical operations.

Requires a High School degree and active MA certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA or ABR-OE). BLS is preferred; one year of clinical or clerical experience is welcomed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Medical Assisting certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCCT) or ABR-OE eligibility
• Active MA certification from ACA/AMT/NHA/NCCT or ABR-OE acceptable where allowed
• BLS from American Heart Association is preferred/required at hiring locations

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous customer service
• Review and update patient charts and records
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height)
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations
• Handle clerical duties (inventory, referrals, phones)
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly
