Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for the Family Medicine clinic in Dartmouth, MA. This full-time role offers day shifts (7:30am - 4:00pm) and a 40-hour workweek with a $3,500 new hire sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

You will support providers, manage patient flow, and use EMR systems to maintain records. Minimum requirements include completion of a Medical Assistant program, BLS, and national certification within 13 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent practice experience.
• National certification within 13 months of hire (AMCA/AAMA/AMT/CCMA/NCMA).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with EMR/health-related software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Facilitate efficient patient flow in the clinic or medical office.
• Communicate test results, schedules, and follow-ups to patients as directed.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, use EMR to access/update records.
