Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant program or equivalent office experience.
• BLS certification required.
• National third-party certification within 13 months of hire.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical support duties and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform a variety of medical assisting duties in the assigned Medical Office.
• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Facilitate efficient flow of patients through the clinic or medical office.
• Communicate test results, schedules and follow-up with patients as directed.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality; utilize EMR and related software.
