Job summary

Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center in Seattle is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our Seattle location. The CMA will assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, and point-of-care testing related to asthma and allergy care.

The role requires a Washington CMA license, AIDS/HIV training, CPR/First Aid, and EMR experience (Athena, Epic, GE or similar). Typical hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed CMA in Washington state with current credentials.
• Completion of the AIDS/HIV training as required.
• CPR/First Aid for healthcare professionals valid at start.
• Proof of Washington CMA certification or registration.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and record vitals, med history, allergies, symptoms; enter data into EMR.
• Perform procedures accurately and timely as directed by provider.
• Educate patients on meds, disease, environmental controls; document messages in EMR.
• Take inventory and restock supplies; manage samples and patient information sheets.
• Prepare exam rooms for next patient.

Washington State CMA license
