Job summary

Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center in Seattle seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our downtown Seattle location. You will room patients, record vitals, collect histories, and perform point-of-care testing for asthma and allergy care.

The role requires a Washington CMA license, AIDS/HIV training, CPR/First Aid, and EMR experience (Athena, Epic, GE). We offer benefits and a competitive hourly wage with a 21‑day PTO plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Washington CMA license and provide verification.
• Completion of the 7-hour AIDS/HIV training required.
• CPR/First Aid for healthcare professionals must be current.
• Washington state Medical Assistant certification or registration proof.
• Experience with EMR/HER systems (Athena, Epic, GE or other) is required.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and record vital signs and histories; enter data into EMR.
• Perform procedures accurately and timely as directed by the provider.
• Educate patients on medications, disease processes and care plans; document take-home messages.
• Take inventory and restock supplies; manage samples and patient information.
• Prepare exam rooms for next patient.
