Job summary

Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center in Seattle is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our downtown location. You will assist with rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing point-of-care testing related to asthma and allergy care, maintaining a balanced CMA to provider ratio.

You will work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, be paid hourly, and enjoy benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, a 401k plan, profit sharing, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a Washington CMA license and current certification.
• Experience with EMR systems such as Athena, Epic, or GE is required.
• Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and record vital signs, review symptoms, and enter data into EMR.
• Perform procedures and follow orders for patient care without error.
• Educate patients on medications, disease processes, and self-care.
• Manage supplies and restock as needed.
• Prep exam rooms for the next patient.
