Job summary

Northwest Asthma and Allergy in Everett, WA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our busy location. The role involves rooming patients, recording vitals, and assisting with point-of-care testing for asthma and allergy care, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

You must hold a WA LPN or CMA license, complete AIDS/HIV training, CPR/First Aid, and EMR experience (Athena, Epic, GE or similar).

Qualifications

• WA LPN or CMA license required.
• Complete AIDS/HIV 7-hour training.
• CPR/First Aid for healthcare professionals.
• WA Medical Assistant certification/registration required.
• Experience with EMR/HER systems (Athena, Epic, GE, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Check in patients, record vitals, medication history, drug allergies, and review symptoms.
• Provide timely procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Educate patients on medications, disease processes, and care plans; document take-home messages in EMR.
• Inventory supplies, restock, and manage patient education materials.
• Prepare exam rooms for the next patient.
