Zusammenfassung

Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our Seattle location. You will room patients, record vitals, perform point-of-care testing, and help with EMR documentation to ensure efficient patient flow.

Ideal candidates hold a WA CMA license, complete HIV/AIDS training, and have EMR experience (Athena/Epic). Outpatient asthma/allergy experience is preferred; a collaborative team environment is offered.

Qualifikationen

• We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant licensed in Washington State.
• Completion of the 7-hour AIDS/HIV training is required.
• CPR/First aid for healthcare professionals is required.
• Washington state insured Medical Assistant certification or registration proof is required.
• Experience with EMR/HER systems (Athena, Epic, GE or similar) is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, multitasking, and teamwork are essential.
• Outpatient experience in asthma/allergy/ENT/pediatrics/dermatology is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Check in patients, record vitals, review medication history and allergies, and enter data into the EMR.
• Conduct procedures with accuracy and in a timely manner as ordered by the provider.
• Educate patients on medications, disease processes, and home care, and document take-home messages in EMR.
• Take inventory, restock supplies, and maintain sample medications and patient information sheets.
• Prepare exam rooms for next patient and support a smooth patient flow.
