Job summary

Northwest Asthma and Allergy seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our Seattle location, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care. You will room patients, collect vitals, and perform point-of-care testing related to asthma and allergy care.

The role requires a Washington CMA license, AIDS/HIV training, CPR/First Aid, and EMR proficiency. A collaborative team environment with 2:1 CMA to provider ratio supports efficient, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State CMA license.
• Must have completed the 7 hours AIDS/HIV training.
• CPR/First aid for healthcare professionals card.
• Washington state insured Medical Assistant certification or registration.
• Experience with EMR systems (Athena, Epic, GE) is required.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities; team player.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and record vitals and medication history in EMR.
• Conduct preliminary tests and support rooming patients.
• Educate patients about medications, disease processes, and care plans.
• Manage supplies, restock, and maintain exam rooms for next patient.
• Document take-home messages in the EMR after visits.
