Job summary

Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center in Seattle is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our Seattle location. The role involves rooming patients, recording vitals, entering data into the EMR, and assisting providers during asthma and allergy care.

This non-exempt, hourly position requires a Washington CMA license, AIDS/HIV training, CPR/First Aid, and EMR experience (Athena, Epic or GE).

Qualifications

• Current Washington State CMA license.
• Must have completed the 7 hours AIDS/HIV training.
• CPR/First Aid for healthcare professionals certified.
• WA insured Medical Assistant certification/registration.
• Experience with EMR/HER systems (Athena, Epic, GE).

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and record vital signs and medical history in EMR.
• Perform procedures and assist providers with care as ordered.
• Educate patients on medications, disease processes, and home care.
• Inventory and restock supplies; manage samples and patient information.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient flow between visits.
