Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to turn vacant units into market-ready homes by performing essential repairs and make-ready tasks. You will ensure proper caulking, drywall inspection, and timely painting, while supporting grounds upkeep and cost-control measures.

The role requires EPA and CPO certification and a commitment to safety, quality service, and efficient documentation in a fast-paced property management environment.

Qualifications

• EPA and CPO certification required.
• Experience performing maintenance repairs to apartments prior to move-in.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and improvements to vacant and occupied apartment homes.
• Ensure caulking and sealing around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers are proper.
• Inspect sheetrock for damage and repair/replace as needed.
• Touch-up paint on vacant and occupied units as directed.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning tasks as needed.
• Fix parts when possible to control costs; use tools and materials efficiently.
• Complete make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation timely.
• Follow safety policies and attend required safety trainings; report incidents promptly.
• Provide quality customer service to residents and respond to maintenance requests with urgency.
