The Liberty Group in Texas is actively hiring experienced HVAC-certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians for onsite communities. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

We verify certification and onsite experience prior to placement, and you should have reliable transportation and a valid government-issued ID. This role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for make-ready.

Qualifications

• EPA/CFC/HVAC certification required for the role.
• 6+ months of onsite apartment maintenance experience.
• Valid government-issued ID and reliable transportation.
• Own basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on A/C and mechanical systems.
• Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for make-ready / turn status (repairs + improvements).
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Document work completed in maintenance logs.
• Prioritize multiple work orders and deliver strong resident service.

What you’ll do

Preferred (not required)

• Strong apartment turn / make-ready experience
• Experience in related fields (hotel maintenance, carpentry, rehab, condo) only if you also have onsite apartment experience
