Job summary

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring experienced, HVAC-certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians for onsite communities. Pay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Onsite role with responsibilities to diagnose and repair HVAC systems, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnover. Preferred candidates have 6+ months of onsite apartment maintenance experience, an EPA/CFC/HVAC certification, a valid ID, reliable transportation, and basic tools.

• Valid government-issued ID.
• Reliable transportation.
• Own basic tools needed for maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on A/C and mechanical systems.
• Complete resident service requests efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for make-ready/turn status (repairs + improvements).
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Document work completed in maintenance logs.
• Prioritize multiple work orders and deliver great resident customer service.

• 6+ months onsite apartment maintenance experience

Preferred (not required)

• Strong apartment turn / make-ready experience
• Experience in related fields (hotel maintenance, carpentry, rehab, condo) only if you also have onsite apartment experience
