Job summary

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring for experienced, HVAC Certified Apartment Community Maintenance Technicians. You will diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, perform preventative maintenance, and handle turnover repairs to prepare market-ready apartments.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, maintaining common areas, and keeping detailed maintenance logs while delivering excellent resident service. Valid ID and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• A/C certification (HVAC, EPA, CFC) is required.
• At least 6 months of onsite experience is required.
• Valid government-issued ID is required and transportation must be reliable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC units.
• Provide preventive maintenance on A/C and other mechanical systems.
• Respond to residential service requests in a timely manner.
• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status via repairs and improvements.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of common areas and grounds.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and records of activity.
• Demonstrate multitasking ability and prioritize tasks to meet resident needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units


• Provide preventative maintenance and repair on A/C and other mechanical systems.


• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner.


• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.


• Maintain cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.


• Manages records of activity in maintenance log.


• Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize.


• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.

Required Qualifications:

• A/C certification (HVAC, EPA, CFC)


• At least 6 months of onsite experience


• Valid I.D. Required


• Have reliable transportation


• Own tools necessary to perform maintenance duties

Pay ranges from $23 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
