Job summary

The Liberty Group is hiring an experienced HVAC Certified Apartment Community Maintenance Technician in Kingsport, TN. You will diagnose and repair HVAC units, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure timely service for residents.

Responsibilities include preparing market-ready apartments, maintaining grounds, and logging maintenance activity. A/C certification (HVAC/EPA/CFC) and at least 6 months on-site experience are required.

Qualifications

• A/C certification (HVAC, EPA, CFC) required.
• At least 6 months of onsite experience.
• Valid I.D. required.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Own tools necessary to perform maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring for experienced, HVAC Certified Apartment Community Maintenance Technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units


• Provide preventative maintenance and repair on A/C and other mechanical systems.


• Respond and complete residential service requests in a timely manner.


• Prepare vacant apartments for market ready status through turn-over repairs and improvements.


• Maintain cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including common areas.


• Manages records of activity in maintenance log.


• Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize.


• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.

Required Qualifications:

• A/C certification (HVAC, EPA, CFC)


• At least 6 months of onsite experience


• Valid I.D. Required


• Have reliable transportation


• Own tools necessary to perform maintenance duties

Pay ranges from $23 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
