Hussmann in Montgomery, AL is seeking a skilled HVAC-R Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems in supermarkets, convenience stores and cold storage facilities.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, and 5 years field experience (or 3 years with a tech school cert). Internal candidates need 1 year as a Qualified Technician with on-the-job training. Valid driver’s license, physical ability, and willingness to work nights/weekends are also expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• HVAC-R technical schooling preferred.
• External candidates: 5 years field experience or 3 years with cert.
• Internal candidates: 1 year as Qualified Technician with on-the-job training.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems.
• Document work tickets and time sheets accurately and timely.
• Maintain and manage truck inventory and follow vehicle guidelines.
• Display strong customer relations and clear problem communication.
• Understand basic electrical schematics and TEV troubleshooting.
