Job summary

Hussmann in Montgomery, AL seeks motivated HVAC/R Technicians to maintain and repair supermarket refrigeration systems and merchandisers. You will perform routine maintenance with minimal supervision and diagnose HVAC/R equipment with guidance from a Master/Lead Technician.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school level education; HVAC-R schooling preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is highly desirable.
• External candidates: 5 years in the field or 3 years with tech-school certification.
• Internal candidates: 1 year as Qualified Technician with OJT and skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration and merchandisers with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems with some direction from a Master/Lead Technician.
• Complete tickets and time sheets; use handheld computer for paperwork and invoicing.
• Maintain truck inventory and adhere to fleet guidelines.
