Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder, including assessment, splinting, and development of recovery plans in a busy outpatient setting.

The role collaborates with hand surgeons and other clinicians; requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, licensure as PT or OT, and CHT credential, with opportunities for leadership and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• DPT or OTD is preferred.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is required.
• Current state PT or OT license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of hand-related conditions and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability of the patient.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Document Delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
