Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder within an outpatient setting. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and comprehensive recovery planning.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab experience, a current PT/OT license, and CHT credentials. Leadership and education of staff are valued components of the position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.
• Bachelor's degree required; Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Current state PT or OT license and CHT credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluation and develop care plans for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Design, fit, and educate on custom orthoses and splints.
• Supervise OT assistants, students, and support staff.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians on interdisciplinary care.
• Document therapy services and outcomes; ensure accurate records.
