Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy. The role emphasizes evaluation, custom splinting, orthotic fabrication, and post-surgical recovery, with collaboration across hand surgeons, PTs, and therapists.

Requires a Bachelor's degree, current PT/OT license, and CHT credential; 3+ years' experience in upper-extremity rehab; DOE salary with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for OT or PT licensure.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish a plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions.
• Document delivery of occupational/hand therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, and other therapists in care planning.
• Manage post-surgical and injury rehabilitation including scar management and return-to-work rehab.
