Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of accredited OT program.
• 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab/outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• CHT credential and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions suitable for patient age and disability.
• Document Occupational Therapy services.
• Supervise OT Assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust hand/upper-extremity orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care, and return-to-work rehab.
