Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehab for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will perform assessments, craft custom splints, and develop recovery plans for diverse orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities include supervising OTAs, collaborating with hand surgeons and therapists, and educating patients on orthoses wear and postoperative care. Current PT/OT licensure and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT Doctorate preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• CPR/BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop plans of care.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation.
• Design, fabricate orthoses and splints.
• Supervise OT assistants and students.
• Coordinate with hand surgeons and other therapists.
• Document services and outcomes.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear and precautions.
