Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. Core duties include patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans.

You will collaborate with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals; supervise OT Assistants and students; fabricate orthoses; and manage post-surgical rehabilitation with scar management and return-to-work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions suitable for age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
