Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and supervise OT staff in a collaborative clinical setting.

The role emphasizes orthotic fabrication, post-surgical rehab, and close collaboration with hand surgeons and therapists to optimize patient outcomes. A strong background in upper-extremity rehab is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• 3+ years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions suitable for age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct and supervise OT Assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve and postoperative cases.
• Provide scar management, edema control, wound care and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other health professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and case discussions.
