Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. The role includes patient evaluation, custom splinting, and developing recovery plans in an outpatient setting.

You will collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians, supervise staff and students, and contribute to post‑surgical rehabilitation and scar management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred; OT program graduate from accredited program.
• 3+ years upper-extremity rehab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and condition.
• Directs and supervises assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, and post‑op conditions; recovery and return‑to‑work plans.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, PTs, and other professionals; participate in care planning.
