Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder in an outpatient setting. The role involves evaluating patients, creating plans of care, and supervising OT staff.

You will design custom orthoses, educate patients, and manage post-surgical and injury rehab, collaborating with surgeons and therapists to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish plans of care.
• Provide hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation.
• Document delivery of OT services.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints; educate on wear and care.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other healthcare professionals; participate in care planning.
