Vineyards at Fowler is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to join our care team. You will oversee the dietary department in a fast-paced healthcare setting, ensuring meals meet nutritional needs and regulatory standards.

The CDM will supervise dietary staff, develop nutritious menus, manage inventory, and collaborate with other departments to promote high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and nutritional standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the dietary department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals that meet the nutritional needs of patients and residents.
• Supervise dietary staff, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure excellent customer service and quality of care.
• Develop and implement menus that are both delicious and nutritious, taking into account patient preferences and special dietary needs.
• Manage food inventory, ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
