Universal Health Services, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA seeks an Associate Application Analyst – Cerner Support to join the CIS Support Team. You will assist with clinical application software issues, post-conversion support, and application troubleshooting to ensure high-quality service.

The role emphasizes problem analysis, ticket resolution, and collaboration with clinical staff, with travel around 15% and ongoing learning opportunities within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge: Requires a 2 year/Associate’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and/or a combination of education and experience that provides the skills and abilities necessary to perform this job.
• Skills: Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills, among facility customers and team members. Demonstrates customer-oriented service excellence principals, as outlined in UHS corporate standards. Self-disciplined, able to work independently, but also able to take direction when necessary. Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues, and in advancing personal knowledge. Very organized and detail-oriented Flexible with time. A Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and electronic mail software applications.
• License or Registration Requirements: Acute Care Facility (Hospital) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance/Support: Demonstrates analytical problem solving.
• System Implementation: Independently provides first level of problem analysis with the objective of resolving as many as possible and communicating back to the customer.
• Administration and Oversight: Prepares and promptly submits all routine and special reports including status reports to supervisor as required.
